Crochet Infant Sundress

Size Newborn to 3 months.

Pattern was created for God's Tiny Angels.

Baby sport yarn, size G hook, 2 small buttons and sewing needle. Turn after each row untill otherwise noted...
R1) Ch 35, sc in second chain from hook and each chain across. ( to have a more finished look be sure to work sts through 2 loops of the chain)
R2) Ch 1, sc across
R3) Ch 2 , dc in first and second st, * 2 dc in next st, dc in next st* across, end with dc( 52 dc)
R4)Ch 2, dc in first st and in next 2 dc, * 2 dc in next st, dc in next 2 sts* across ending with 2 dc. ( 70 dc )
R5) Ch 2, Dc in each chain across
R6) Ch 1, sc in each st across
R7) Ch 1, sc in next 12 sts, ch 6, skip 11 sc, sc in next 24 sts, ch 6, skip 11 sc, sc in last 12 sts.
R8) Ch 1, sc across all st and in the chain spaces.
R9) Ch 2, dc in each st across, slip st to begining chain 2, Fasten off.

NOTE: Work the rest of pattern in rounds DO NOT turn. Join 2cnd color to slip st just made
R10) BACK LOOPS ONLY---- Ch 2, *dc in 3 sts, 2 dc in next st* from * across, slip st
R11) Ch 2, Dc in each st across, sl st
R12) Ch 2,* dc in 4 sts, 2 dc in next st* around, join with sl st.
R13) Ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st
R14) Ch 2, * dc in 5 st, 2 dc in next st* around, join with sl st.
R15-21) Ch 2, dc in each st around, sl st.
Finish off

Bottom Ruffle: Join first color in sl st just made, sc in 2 st, ch 3, * sc in next 2 st, chain 3, sc in next 2 sts* around, join with slip st and fasten off.

Neck ruffle: Work same as bottom ruffle with exception of using alternate color.

Sew 2 buttons to top back of dress
Make a chain of 80 or ribbon and weave in and out of round 8, tie in bow to front of dress.
