3 ribbon roses 
 
Row 1  Ch 4, sl st to join and form ring. 
Ch 1, *dc, ch 1* in ring 7 times.  Sl st in third ch of beg ch 4 to join. 

Row 2:  Ch 1, sc in same stitch.  Sc in each ch 1 space and dc around. 
Sl st to first sc to join.  (16 sc) 

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in same stitch.  Ch 1, sc in next st. 
*2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc*.  Repeat from * to * around. 
Sl st in first sc to join.  (24 sc) 

Row 4: Ch 4.  Dc, ch 1 in each sc around.  Sl st to ch 3 of beg ch 4. 

Row 5: Repeat Row 2. 

Row 6: Ch 1.  Bpsc around same stitch as joining. 
Bpsc in next 40 stitches. (41 bpsc) 

Row 7: Ch 2, turn.  Hdc in next 2 st. 
*Ch 2, skip next 4 st.  7 dc in next st.  Ch 2.  Skip next 4 st. 
Hdc in next 3 st.*(pineapple base made)  Repeat from * to * across. 
Hdc in last 3 st.  Ch 2, turn.  (three pineapple bases made) 

Row 8: Hdc in next st.  Ch 2. *Hdc, ch 1 in each dc in pineapple base. 
ch 1.  Skip next hdc.  Hdc in next hdc, ch 2, skip next hdc*. 
Rpeat from * to * across.  Hdc in last 2 hdc.  Ch 2, turn. 

Row 9: Hdc in next hdc.  *Ch 2, sc in 1st space between 1st & snd 
hdc of pineapple basde.  Ch 3, sc in next sp, 4 times.  Ch 2.  Hdc in next hdc*. 
Repeat from * to * across.  Hdc in last hdc.  Ch 2, turn. 

Row 10: Hdc in next hdc.  *Ch 2, sc in ch 3 loop. Ch 3, sc in next loop 4 times. 
Ch 2, hdc in next hdc*.  Repeat from * to * across.  Hdc in last hdc.  Ch 2, turn. 

Row 11: 2 hdc in next hdc.   *Ch 2.  Sc in next ch 3 loop. 
Ch 3, sc in each ch 3 loop.  Ch 2, 2 hdc in next hdc*. 
Repeat from * to *.  Hdc in last hdc.  ch 2, turn. 

Row 12: Hdc in next hdc.  2 hdc in next hdc.  Ch 2, 
*sc in next ch 3 loop.  ch 3, sc in each ch 3 loop.  Ch 2.  2 hdc in next 2 hdc.  Ch 2*.  Repeat from * to * across.  2 hdc in next hdc.  Hdc in last 2 hdc.  Ch 2, turn. 

Row 13: Hdc in next 2 hdc.  2 hdc in next hdc.  Ch 2 *sc in ch 3 loop. 
Ch 3, sc in ch 3 loop, ch 2.  2 hc in next hdc.  Hdc in next 2 hdc. 
2 hdc in next hdc, ch 2*.  Repeat from * to * across.  2 hdc in  next hdc. 
Hdc in last 3 hdc.  ch 2, turn. 

Row 14: Hdc in next 3 hdc.  2 hdc in next hdc.  Ch 3.  *
Sc in ch 3 loop, ch 3.  2 hdc in next hdc. 
Hdc in next 4 hdc.  2 hdc in last hdc, ch 3*. 
Repeat from * to * across.  2 hdc in next hdc.  Hdc in last 4 hdc.  Ch 2, turn. 

Row 15: Hdc in the next 4 hdc.  2 hc in next hdc.  Ch 2. 
*2 hdc in next hdc. 
Hdc in next 6 hdc. 
2 hdc in next hdc.  Ch 2* 
Repeat from * to * across.  2 hdc in next hdc. 
Hdc in last 5 stitches.  Do not fasten of. 

BOTTOM  NECK EDGING 
Row 1: Ch 1, turn.  Sc in end of each hdc row.  2 sc in dc row end. 
Sc in each  sc to opposite neck edge. 

Row 2: Ch 3, turn.  Skip next st.  *Hdc, ch 1 in next st. 
Skip next stitch* repeat from * to * around.  Hdc in last st, ch 1. 
 

EDGING 
Sl st around last hdc of neck edging row 2.  Ch 1.  Hdc, dc  in same st. 
Working across face edging, *skip next st.  Sl st ch, hdc, dc i next stitch*. 
Repeat from * to * across to oposite face edge. 
3 sc in corner of neck edging.  2 sc in each space of bottom neck edging around. 
Sl st to 1st sc to join.  Fasten off.
 

Sew 1 ribbon rose at the top of each 7 dc group in pinapples on bonnet. 
Weave ribbon tie through the ch spaces of neck edging.
