G hook for Preemie
H hook for Newborn
Worsted weight yarn in White, Orange and Yellow...

Row 1.) With White, ch 4, 7 dc in 4th ch from hook, join with sl st, DO NOT TURN....8 st

Row 2.) ch 2, dc in joining st, (dc in next st, 2 dc in the next st) 3 times, dc in last st, join, DO NOT TURN....12 st

Row 3.) ch 2, dc in joining st, (dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in the next st) 3 times, dc to end, join, DO NOT TURN....16 st

Row 4.) ch 2, dc in joining st, (dc in next 3 st, 2 dc in the next st) 3 times, dc to end, change to orange, join, DO NOT TURN....20 st

Row 5.) ch 2, dc in joining st, (dc in next 4 st, 2 dc in the next st) 3 times, dc to end, join, DO NOT TURN....24 st

Row 8.) ch 2, dc in joining st, (dc in next 10 st, 2 dc in the next st) 3 times, dc to end, change to yellow, join, DO NOT TURN....40 st

Row 9.) ch 2, dc in each st around, join, DO NOT TURN....40 st

Row 10.) ch 2, dc in each st around, join, TURN on this row only....40 st

Row 11.) ch 2, dc in back loop only of each st around, join, DO NOT TURN....40 st

Row 12.) ch 2, dc in both loops of each st around, join, Fasten Off, weave in end....40 st

Fold up the last 2 rows to make the brim of this hat.

Candy Corn Booties

Materials:
F hook for Newborn
Worsted Weight yarn in White, Orange and Yellow

Row 1.) With yellow, ch 13, dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 8 ch, work 5 dc in the last st, working down the opposite side of the ch, work 1 dc in the next 9 ch, join with sl st to top of ch 3. DO NOT TURN.

Row 2.) ch 3, dc in joining st and in next 10 st, (2 dc in the next st) 3 times, dc in next 9 st, 2 dc in last st, change to orange, join, DO NOT TURN.

Row 3.) ch 3, in back loops only on this row, dc in next 9 st, (Decrease dc over next 2 st) 5 times, dc in last 9 st, join, DO NOT TURN.

Row 4.) ch 3, working in both loops again , dc in joining st, dc in next 7 st, (Decrease dc over next 2 st) 5 times, dc in last 6 st, change to white, join, DO NOT TURN.

Row 5.) ch 1, sc in next 9 st, (Decrease dc over next 2 st) 2 times, sc in last 8 st, join, DO NOT TURN.

Row 6.) ch 2, hdc in each st to the middle front (Decrease dc over the next 2 st) 1 time, hdc in remaining st to end, join, DO NOT TURN.

Row 7.) ch 3, dc in joining st, *(2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st)* repeat from * around, join, Fasten Off, weave in end.
