Bodice:

1) Sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1 -- turn (33 sc).
2) Work in back loops only as follows
a) Sc in next 4 st – 3 sc in next (left back)
b) Sc in next 6 st – 3 sc in next (shoulder)
c) Sc in next 6 st – 3 sc in next (front)
d) Sc in next 6 st – 3 sc in next (shoulder)
e) Sc in next 7 st – (right back)
f) Ch 1 turn (41 sc)
3) Work in back loops only -- sc in each st. Ch 1 -- turn (41 sc).
4) Work in back loops only as follows
a) Sc in next 5 st – 3 sc in next (left back)
b) Sc in next 8 st – 3 sc in next (shoulder)
c) Sc in next 8 st – 3 sc in next (front)
d) Sc in next 8 st – 3 sc in next (shoulder)
e) Sc in next 8 st – (right back)
f) Ch 1 turn (49 sc)
5) Work in back loops only -- sc in each st. Ch 1 -- turn (49 sc).
6) Work in back loops only as follows
a) Sc in next 6 st – 3 sc in next (left back)
b) Sc in next 10 st – 3 sc in next (shoulder)
c) Sc in next 10 st – 3 sc in next (front)
d) Sc in next 10 st – 3 sc in next (shoulder)
e) Sc in next 9 st – (right back)
f) Ch 1 turn (57 sc)
7) Work in back loops only -- sc in each st. Ch 1 -- turn (57 sc).
8) Work in back loops only as follows

9) Work in back loops only -- sc in each st. Ch 1 -- turn (65 sc).

11) Work in back loops only as follows for form armholes:
a) Sc in next 12 sc (back)
b) Skip next 14 st for arm
c) Sc in next 16 sc (front)
d) Skip next 14 st for arm
e) Sc in next 9 st (back)
f) Ch 1 turn (37 sc)
12) *Sc in next 4 sc – 2 dc in next. Repeat across. Ch 1 turn (44 sc)
13) *Sc in next 4 sc – 2 dc in next. Repeat across. Cut and secure yarn (52 st)

Skirt:
14) With right side facing, overlap short back over long back side 4 stitches. Attach yarn in 4th st to right of short edge with a sc. Hdc in 2 st; *3 hdc in next st; hdc in 2 st; sk 1 st; hdc in 2 st; repeat from * ending with sl st in 1st hdc (56)
15) Ch 3; dc in next st; *3 dc in next st; dc in next 2 st; dc next 2 st tog (dec dc made); dc in next 2 st; repeat from * ending with sl st in top of 1st dc (64)

Sleeve:
Work two as follows:
1) With wrong side facing, join yarn under arm opening
2) Sc in each sc around; sl st in top of 1st sc (17)
3) Ch 1 turn; sc in each st around; sl st in top of 1st sc. (17)
4) Cut and secure yarn.

Collar:
1. With right side facing; attach yarn in 1st stitch of starting chain; sc in 29 st;
2. Ch 1 turn; working in back loops only – this row – hdc in 7 st; 3 hdc in next; hdc in 6 st; 3 hdc in next; hdc in 6 st; 3 hdc in next; hdc in 7 st (35)
3. Ch 1 turn; work in both loops hdc in 8 st; 3 hdc in next; hdc in 8 st; 3 hdc in next; hdc in 8 st; 3 hdc in next; hdc in 8 st; end and secure thread (41)

Put closure material on back opening – I use permanent, washable glue to glue SOFT Velcro to back opening but you can use buttons, snaps or what ever you wish.

You can also sew a button, bow or other trim to front point of collar if you with.
