1. With right side facing attach thread in top of dc on end of flap. Ch 3; dc in side of same dc; dc in top of next dc; dc in side of next dc (note you are working in end dc’s of the two rows for crotch). Now you will be working in the FPDC pattern so be sure you are keeping your front post dc’s in line: *FPDC in next st; dc in next; repeat from * over next 20 st; dc in side of 1st row on other flap of crotch; dc in top of that st; dc in next st; dc in top of flap; end and secure thread.

Finishing:
1. Close back opening (I use permanent washable glue to glue SOFT Velcro in place but you can use buttons, snaps, or anything else you chose to use.
2. Close crotch and leg openings. (If using Velcro use a separate piece for each leg than you use for the crotch.)
3. Thread straps through shoulder tabs and secure with buttons or other decorations as desired (I usually just sew the strap to be bib to make less work for the person dressing Baby but you can make button and button holes that are functional if that is what you want.)
